Mother’s Day is one of my favorite days of the year. Obviously, I am not a mother. However, my mother, gone now for more than 23 years, was ever-loving, kind, considerate and had a huge thirst for knowledge and self-improvement, which she passed along to her children. We all have those special thoughts of our growing-up experiences and for our spouses who play the role of mom every day, sometimes to our young, growing, and older children. Sometimes, even to our furry creatures.
Women have special roles in society that most men do not understand: They give birth to our children, they independently feed them when they are most vulnerable, they kiss and bandage the bruises and cuts when we are young, they nurture in ways that only women can, and they are teachers every day to their family. When one’s children are all grown up, they continue to be the nurturers and help keep expanding families together even when health and geography pose challenges.
And sometimes they join the “sandwich generation,” where they take care of their children at the same time as taking care of their aging parents, posing a huge challenge to family dynamics and energy.
So, Mothers and Grandmothers and Great-grandmothers, we see you. We’re thinking of you. And we appreciate you!
On behalf of your Team at Prosperity Financial Group, we want to wish you, your mother, your wife, or the women most important to you, here or in heaven, the very best Mother’s Day. May it be filled with love, memories and laughter.
All my best,
