Mother’s Day is one of my favorite days of the year. Obviously, I am not a mother. My mother, however, who’s gone now for more than 24 years, was ever-loving, kind, and considerate. She had a huge thirst for knowledge and self-improvement which she passed along to her children.
We all have those special thoughts from our growing-up experiences and also for our spouses who play the role of mom every day, always caring for our young, growing, and older children. Sometimes, even to our furry creatures.
Women have special roles in society that most men do not understand.
They give birth to our children, and they independently feed them when they are most vulnerable. They kiss and bandage the bruises and cuts when we are young, and they nurture us in ways that only women can.
They are teachers every day to their families too.
When one’s children are all grown up, they continue to be the nurturers and help keep growing families together even when health and geography pose challenges. Sometimes, they join the “sandwich generation”, where they take care of their children at the same time as taking care of their aging parents, posing a huge challenge to family dynamics and energy. Still, they persevere.
On behalf of your Team at Prosperity Financial Group, we want to wish you, your mother, your wife, or the women most important to you the very best Mother’s Day. Here or in heaven, may it be filled with love, memories, and laughter.
